Fly Rod Crosby Trail Work Days — Summer 2021

May 27, 2021 By High Peaks Alliance

Time to get out those clippers, paint brushes and trail saws! There is lots to be done this summer, all ages and abilities are welcome and we could use some help. Come for a couple of hours or more. We usually end around midday.

Trail work days will be on the following dates.

Dates Meeting Time

Saturday June 5 (rain date June 6) 8:30

Monday June 14 (rain date June 15) 8:30

Saturday June 19 (rain date June 20) 8:30

Saturday June 26 8:30

Where

Meet at the Madrid Kiosk on the Reeds Mill Road in Madrid.  From Route 4, take a right (from the south) onto the Reeds Mill Road and go 4.5+ miles. Kiosk is on the left. Park along the road or in the field.

Bring: water, bug dope, safety glasses, gloves, sun block lotion, clippers, wading shoes for crossing a stream, and tools if you have them (we can provide if you don’t), lunch, a mask, a smile…

If weekends  or a Monday do not work and you would like to work on another day, or work on your own, we can arrange this.

Questions?

Please email Betsy at [email protected] or call 639-3432.

See you on the trail!
