Being a Resident of Barnjum Maine I can tell you there is no better area to be in. Traveling this road is to say the least rough. Low clearance vehicles do not stand a chance as I have rescued 3 Subarus. The first 3 miles are really something to be desired. Once past the Barnjum bridge it is better. If this is to be used for its beauty and hiking etc. we need access. Resident
