7/15/24 – The road is good for a high-clearance vehicle. The first two miles were wet but I made it to Mile Marker 4 with my Rav4. I turned around for time restraints, not the conditions.
9/1/24 – The road is only good for high-clearance vehicles. The first two miles are rocky with culverts exposed in places. I made it to Mile Marker 4 with my Rav4 by going slow. Second time I had to turn around because of time restraints, not the conditions.
September 10 — drove in to mile 7 where the “South Side Trail” up Mount Abraham begins with a Subaru. Slow going and you need to pick your way through, but never bottomed out. The best conditions of the road (though there are few) are further out.
