West Peak on Bigelow
Elevation: 4,145 feet Distance: 11.6 miles round-trip Location: Flagstaff
The Bigelow Range extends for 12 miles and consists of six peaks. Among them, West Peak stands as the highest. To reach its summit, the quickest route starts at the parking area of Stratton Brook Campsite. Follow the Fire Warden’s Trail, which ascends approximately 1,500 feet until you reach the Appalachian Trail. From there, prepare to be amazed by the breathtaking panoramic views of Avery Peak, the surrounding peaks, and the expansive forests.
