Why I Support the High Peaks | Monthly Giving | High Peaks Alliance

Why I Support the High Peaks

The High Peaks offer something truly without value – true peace and solitude. Whether on a trail in the woods or in a canoe in the middle of a lake, you appreciate the vastness of the area. There is no better place to view the night sky that I have found anywhere else, it truly puts you in your place in the order of the universe. I want my children, and their children after them, to come back and be able to experience these things just as I have. I support the High Peaks Alliance to protect that future, and allow them to escape into the woods someday.

– Alex Meijer, seasonal Avon resident
