We need you
With summer now underway in the High Peaks Region, we’re excited to announce two volunteer work days coming up this summer led by Recreation Ranger Matt Kusper. Spending one or both days out on the trail with us is a great way to give back and spend time with the community in the outdoors- and we need your help to make a difference!
Day 1: Tumbledown Mountain
- When: July 12th, 9 am to 2 pm
- Please meet us at the Brook Trail trailhead
- Projects include placing new waterbars and general trail maintenance
Tumbledown is popular for its mountain pond access, keeping trails very busy throughout the summer season. HPA’s crew of recreation rangers is collaborating with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands to maintain this high-use area.
