Protecting the High Peaks for All
The High Peaks Recreation Rangers are a dedicated team of stewards working across Franklin and Somerset Counties to maintain trails, campsites, and public lands.
Led by the Alliance, the High Peaks Rec Rangers is a collaboration with three partners: Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust (RLHT), Maine Huts & Trails (MHT), and the Bureau of Parks and Lands (BPL).
Rec Rangers care for over a hundred miles of trails, ensuring safe, sustainable access for all who love the outdoors.
Our Mission
- Preserve the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the High Peaks region
