Cars for Conservation is a partnership between High Peaks Alliance and Eastern Tire & Auto Service in Eastport. Eastern Tire assesses and sells accepted vehicles, and 100 percent of the proceeds support High Peaks Alliance.

Cars for Conservation is generally a good fit for vehicles that:
- Are running and can be safely driven or moved.
- Can pass Maine inspection, or are reasonably repairable.
- Can be delivered to Eastern Tire in Eastport.
- Have the necessary ownership paperwork available for transfer.
