We invite you to roll up your sleeves and join a volunteer trail work day on Friday, September 26, at the Perham Stream Birding Trail.

“The focus is on finishing the reroute of the Wheeler Hill Trail, which volunteers started in August,” said Matt Kusper, lead Recreation Ranger. “Volunteers will use hand tools to clear roots and debris to create a level and durable trail surface that everyone can enjoy.”

This event is a great opportunity not only to improve trails but also to meet Alliance staff and some wonderful people who care about preserving our outdoor spaces.

No experience is necessary, and all tools will be provided. Volunteers are welcome to stay for as long as they can; even just an hour or two makes a difference.
