
Dr. Mike DeCarolis
Dr. Mike DeCarolis is a local licensed emergency medicine physician who lives in Farmington. With a subspecialty in wilderness medicine from Yale University, a fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, and a diploma in mountain medicine from the Wilderness Medicine Society. With a focus on education, environmental toxicology, and glaciated alpine/mountaineering based search and rescue. He is a published author and educator. He is an avid outdoorsman and backpacker, having completed the Appalachian Trail and peak-bagged the 100 highest mountains in New England. He also enjoys kayaking, fishing, hunting, foraging, and wildlife and landscape photography.
