Exploring Conservation Frontiers in the Region

The Maine High Peaks Alliance has been exploring multiple avenues of conserving working forests and enhancing outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the High Peaks Region. We have worked with local and regional organizations, hosted community forums, and represented local interests in conservation projects.

Local Backing, Lasting Impact

The HPA’s efforts have been supported by local communities and businesses through partnerships and donations. In 2016 the Sandy River Business Association provided the HPA with a letter of support that outlined the reasons why they feel the High Peaks Alliance is good for local businesses and their communities.
