Spaulding Mountain
Elevation: 4,010 feet Distance: 15.2 miles round-trip Location: Mount Abram Twp
Nestled between Sugarloaf and Mount Abraham, the summit of Spaulding Mountain can be reached by hikers via the Appalachian Trail (AT) or the ski trails of Sugarloaf Mountain Resort. To reach the summit, follow the Fire Warden’s Trail to Mount Abraham and connect to the AT. After passing the Spaulding Campsite, continue for approximately a mile to reach the summit. The breathtaking 360-degree views from the top make Spaulding Mountain a beloved destination among hikers seeking to conquer a 4,000-foot peak.
