Wildlife Watch
January 6, 2025 – We got 13 snow buntings that came in yesterday. They’re hanging around again today. First thing this morning, when I was putting the feeders out there were two sitting on the barn. Then the rest of them came with the sun rising. We’ve got Blue jays, doves, chickadees, nuthatches, and woodpeckers That’s about all for wildlife. No tracks of deer, moose, or rabbit still.
There’s only 3-4 inches of snow. Lots of ice. It’s been so cold and windy that I haven’t wanted to bring the feeders back and forth!
