Rooted in Family
High Peaks Alliance was honored to welcome friends, supporters, sponsors, and neighbors to the Kinney Family Forest dedication ceremony. With beautiful weather overhead, guests heard remarks from Brent West, Stephen “Steve” Kinney, Tim Kinney, and Doug Dunlap, reflecting on the collaboration, care, and long-term vision that made this conservation milestone possible.
The dedication concluded with a group photo at the kiosk, followed by guided walking tours of the property improvements. Guests also had time to explore the forest, connect, and celebrate a place that will benefit people, wildlife, and the outdoors for generations to come.
We are deeply grateful to Steve Kinney and the entire Kinney family, as well as to our supporters, sponsors, and community members who joined us in celebrating this remarkable achievement.
