A Night of Community and Conservation
We’re still buzzing from last night’s Franklin County Chamber Business After Hours at Marmee Dearest! Over 50 people joined us for an evening of conversation, laughter, and updates on what’s happening with High Peaks Alliance and the lands and trails we all love.
We’re so grateful to the Franklin County Chamber and Executive Director JP Fortier for hosting, and to Marmee Dearest for welcoming us into their space. The evening was a great chance to share updates on Mosher Hill Falls, the Shiloh Pond acquisition with the Town of Kingfield, our expanded Rec Rangers coverage, upcoming volunteer trailwork days, progress at Walrath Woods, and what’s coming up with the High Peaks Naturalist Series.
Director of Engagement, Amanda Laliberte, summed up the night this way, “Business After Hours was a fantastic reminder of how many people in our region care about our public lands and trails. We saw strong turnout, thoughtful questions, and real enthusiasm to get involved.”
